AMPATUAN,
Maguindanao --- Residents from this town have benefited from a one-day
medical and dental mission recently.
The activity was held at Barangay Tomicor of
Ampatuan town through the joint initiative of the 2nd Mechanized Infantry
Battalion and the Provincial Government of Maguindanao.
A total of 448 residents benefited from the
medical and dental mission while 25 have availed of the free circumcision.
Aside from the health services, the outreach
program also provided 10 individuals with hybrid corn seeds while 200
received school bags.
Another 200 were also given hygiene kits, 211
received slippers, and 450 got food packs.
“I am grateful that the local government of
Maguindanao continuously conducts this kind of program together with the
military,” said 6th Infantry Division Commander Maj. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana. (DPAO, 6ID – MINDANAO EXPOSE’)
