The forum featured four speakers who discussed various aspects of business and franchising opportunities in the region.

Atty. Malang invited the public to join the business matching activity on Wednesday, in the same venue.

After the presentation of the guest speakers, members of the audience were given a chance to ask questions during the open forum.

NATIONAL TOURISM MONTH 2016

City Government of Cotabato, under the leadership of then Mayor Jojo Guiani and, now, City Mayor Atty. Frances Cynthia Guiani - Sayadi, continues to celebrate the 2016 National Tourism Month.

2016 is Tourism Awareness Year in Cotabato City that conducts free training on water hyacinth product development for the youth and women sectors last Sept.30, 2016 at the DTI Cotabato City Negosyo Center.

This is the last activity for the month of September out of the series of events that the LGU has implemented to strengthen the tourism industry in the city.

Water hyacinth, or "pusaw" in our local dialect, is one of most sought after local tourism products of Cotabato City. The training also hoped to encourage the participants to embark on a pusaw - livelihood initiative to help augment their family earnings.

"May trabaho sa turismo, lalo na sa turismong may puso..."
