June 23, 2016 - Cotabato City Administrator
Dr. Danda N. Juanday and Secretary to the Mayor Aniceto Rasalan meet with
officials from SAVEMORE, the grocery store chain of SM Malls.
In the meeting, SAVEMORE gave a brief
orientation on what the store is all about and how it can help local businesses
to flourish. They said, most of the products that will be sold in their wet and
dry market sections will be locally sourced out. From the meat up to local
delicacies, all will be coming from local producers.
Dr. Juanday has emphasized on the integrity
of Halal in Cotabato City and how the city government envisions the city to
becoming the halal hub of the region. He asked SAVEMORE to study the
possibility of including genuine halal products in their list of grocery items.
SAVEMORE has currently 146 branches in the
entire country. SAVEMORE Cotabato will be its 150th branch.
It is projected to open on September and will
be inside the CityMall, also a sister company of the SM Malls.
