First Septage Management Program in Philippines to be built in Cotabato City

August 16- A Feasibility Study for the first Septage Management Program in the Philippines to be built in Cotabato City through the efforts of the City Government of Cotabato and USAID in partnership with Cotabato City Water District was presented early this afternoon to our Acting Mayor VM Atty. Frances Cynthia Guiani-Sayadi.

The said Septage Management Program will benefit all Cotabateños and nearby areas since it has the capacity to produce clean and potable water through a mechanism that kills E. Coli and fecal coliform bacteria or pathogenic organisms that causes harm to consumers.

"Aside from being the first in the entire Philippines to have a project like this...it has an advance mechanism to treat dirty water and eliminate contamination of harmful bacteria", said Acting Mayor Guiani-Sayadi.(CITY GOVERNMENT OF COTABATO-MINDANAO EXPOSE’)
