MP Macacua extends aid through Bangsamoro SALIG project


AID --- Media frontliners from RMN- DXMY Cotabato received assistance through the Bangsamoro “Services and Actions with Love and Integrity from the Government” or SALIG project of Member of the Parliament Abdulraof  “Sammy Gambar” A. Macacua. (OFFICE OF MP MACACUA, BTA PARLIAMENT, MINDANAO EXPOSE')  
COTABATO CITY --- Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) Member of the ParliamentAbdulraof “Sammy Gambar” A. Macacua extended aid to various Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) frontliners and indigent individuals through his Bangsamoro “Services and Actions with Love and Integrity from the Government” or SALIG project.

Macacua said frontliners such as members of the military forces, media, and medical workers started receiving assistance through series of activities following the launching of the project last March 29, 2020.

“The project was launched just in time as we celebrated the Bangsamoro region’s 1st year anniversary through massive and series distribution of aids to our constituents,” MP Macacua said.
Medical officials and workers of Cotabato Sanitarium Hospital in Sultan Kudarat town in the province of Maguindanao manifested their appreciation and gratefulness to the Bangsamoro government for the goods and disinfectants handed over by MP Macacua’s project Bangsamoro SALIG.

Further, Cotabato Citybased Media outlets also expressed their gratitude and acknowledgement to the Bangsamoro government as they received aids through the Bangsamoro SALIG project.

In addition, indigent individuals from Arabic Teachers (Ustadzes) sector which were also affected by the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ)imposed by the government due to COVID-19 outbreak also received cash assistance from the project.

“We just want to deliver what has been entrusted to us by the Bangsamoro people,” Macacua emphasized.

Meanwhile, the Bangsamoro SALIG project covers several programs on basic services in support to the moral governance advocacy of Chief Minister Ahod “Murad” Balawag Ebrahim.

SALIG is a Bangsamoro vernacular mostly in mainland Mindanao which means “trust”. (OFFICE OF MP MACACUA, BTA PARLIAMENT, MINDANAO EXPOSE')
