CITY--PNP MT. APO SHOOTING RANGE – 12 year old Jhuari Rosdi Dumama-Piang who
represented Cotabato City in a practical shooting competition was awarded as
CHAMPION in the junior classic category with 6 seconds best time in 12 stages
of the Governor Taliño-Mendoza Cup, IPSC/PPSA (Philippine Shooters Association)
Level 3 Handgun match held at Amas, Kidapawan City last August 25 – 28, 2016.
The
young athlete yesterday visited our Acting City Mayor VM Atty. Frances Cynthia
Guiani-Sayadi to personally show and offer his award to all Cotabateños;
“Nagpapasalamat po ako sa supportang ibinigay ng ating Acting City Mayor VM
Atty. Frances Cynthia Guiani-Sayadi, sa City Government of Cotabato, at sa
lahat po ng naniwala sa aking kakayahan... It is an honor to represent our
city”, said Jhuari.
Acting
City Mayor Guiani-Sayadi expressed that we should take good care of our young
athletes and give full support for them to excel in their chosen field;
"may it be in academic, sports or extra-curricular activities, we should
encourage our children to be active... As a mother, I am also encouraging all
parents to support and cheer for their children in doing physical activities or
sports, through these, children can develop their sense of camaraderie and
sportsmanship... to Jhuari, Congratulations!”, added by the official. (CITY
