DOT-ARMM launches Lakbay Turismo radio program

The Department of Tourism (DOT)-ARMM launched its first radio program dubbed as "Lakbay Turismo: Alamin, Sulyapin Ang Natatanging Ganda ng ARMM", August 11, at the ARMM Compound, Cotabato City.

The radio program aims to promote tourism in the region by providing information on the different tourist and scenic spots in the ARMM, and on the culture, practices, and other interesting facts about the Bangsamoro people.

ARMM Tourism Sec. Ayesha Vanessa Hajar M. Dilangalen and Assistant Secretary Shalimar Candao spearheaded the launching. Ms. Irene Gonzales, head of the broadcast division of the Bureau of Public Information and one of the hosts of Aksyon-ARMM, shared her insights and techniques in handling an effective radio program. 

Lakbay Turismo program will air every Monday, starting Aug. 11, 2016, 10:00 to 11:00 AM, over 99.7 dxAE FM, and it will be hosted by Sahara Ali. (BUREAU OF PUBLIC INFORMATION-MINDANAO EXPOSE’)
