Members of the ARMM's Regional Advisory
Committee (RAC) convened to address pressing issues and concerns on the
implementation of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in the Region on
August 9, 2016.
As of March 2016, there are 417,216
households covered by 4Ps in the region, in the provinces of Maguindanao, Lanao
del Sur, Basilan, SUlu and Tawi-Tawi.
The meeting was presided over by ARMM
Governor and RAC Chairperson Mujiv Hataman, and ARMM Vice Governor and Social
Welfare Secretary Haroun Al-Rashid Lucman as vice chairperson, at the ARMM
governor's office in Cotabato City.
It was attended by member departments that
include Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Health (DOH), Education (DepEd),
Interior and Local Government (DILG), and Labor and Employment (DOLE). Other
members agencies include Regional Nutrition Council (RNC), Populaion Commission
(PopCom), Regional Planning and Development Office (RPDO), Bureau of Public
