The Department of Health in the Autonomous
Region in Muslim Mindanao (DOH-ARMM) conducted a symposium on Dengue on June
22, 2016 at Tenorio Elementary School, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao.The
activity was in line with the celebration of the ASEAN dengue day.
Around 200 grade six students along with
their teachers and school nurses from the region’s Department of Education
(DepEd-ARMM) participated in the activity.
Aside from the symposium, the agency also
distributed five Olyset mosquito net rolls to the school. Each roll is 25
meters long and can cover up to four to six classroom windows.
The actvity bears the theme “Aksyon Barangay
Kontra Dengue: 4S pagtibayin.” (Bureau
