Cotabato City (June 17, 2016) - Cotabato City inaugurates its "AA" Standard Hog Slaughterhouse during the week-long celebration of the 57th Araw ng Cotabato.
The event was attended by city government
officials headed by City Administrator Dr. Danda N. Juanday. Several Regional
Directors of the National Meat Inspection Services all around the country also
witnessed the historic event.
The Double A Hog Slaughterhouse, located at
the old slaughterhouse of Cotabato City, was renovated through the funding of
the NMIS, just like the Double A Standard Halal Slaughterhouse at Barangay
Tamontaka.
The City Government extends its gratitude to
the officialdom of NMIS for these two very remarkable projects that were poured
in Cotabato City and for the other ventures that they will undertake here.
