COTABATO
CITY (May 26, 2016) - The ARMM Regional
Cabinet Cluster on Economic Growth together with the International Finance
Corporation of World Bank and the Hineleban Foundation launched the High Carbon
Stock Approach (HCSA) today, May 25 in Cotabato City.
The HCSA is a regional land use planning
approach for sustainable agribusiness development in the ARMM. It is part of
the Bangsamoro Sustainable Framework that aims to promote sustainable
agricultural investments in the region.
Lawyer Ishak Mastura, chairman of the ARMM's
Regional Board of Investment and head of the Regional Cabinet Cluster on
Economic Growth, said the investors will have a clearly defined guidelines for
sustainable and responsible agribusiness investment. (Bureau of Public
