Abdulgani Caludtiag, BTA Parliament Sergeant-at-Arms, said the training series were facilitated by security experts from the Philippine Society for Industrial Security (PSIS), the largest organization of security professionals in the country.
“The course aimed at advancing the knowledge of the participants who are BARMM Senior Security Personnel on managing security operations in their respective areas of responsibilities,” he said.
Amiruddin Gani, OSAA chief of staff, said most of these personnel are Certified Security Professionals (CSP) by the PSIS.
“The participants were able to learn comprehensive security management aspects encompassing both tangible and intangible areas of safety and security,” he said.
Other participating offices include the Office of Chief Minister (OCM), Intelligent Security Services (ISS), Wali of Bangsamoro, Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS), Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR), Office of the Parliament Speaker Atty. Pangalian M. Balindong, Office of the Deputy Parliament Speaker Atty. Omar Yasser Sema, Office of the Majority Floor Leader Atty. Lanang Ali, Jr., Office of the Deputy Minority Floor Leader Atty. Suharto Ambolodto, Office of Member of Parliament Atty. Rasol Y. Mitmug, Jr., and the Office of the Secretary General.
Meanwhile, Caludtiag extended his gratitude to Ambolodto for supporting all OSAA's initiatives on enhancing and strengthening the safety and security not only in the Parliament but of the whole of Bangsamoro Government Center.
