SULTAN SA BARONGIS (SSB), Maguindanao --- Edgardo “Egay”
Padolina is now the Municipal Local Government Operation Officer (MLGOO) of
this town following turn-over rites last February 3 held at the Datu Ramdatu M.
Angas Building within the municipal government compound here.
Outgoing MLGOO Jennifer Ampatuan turned over official
documents to Padolina in the presence of Municipal Administrator Danialan B.
Utap and Municipal Planning and Development Council Officer Debualeg Utto. Also
in attendance were department heads and local government staff, Sangguniang Bayan members, and barangay chairmen
and officials.
Newly installed
MLGOO Padolina, in his message, assured the local government that his office
will work coordinatively with the local government unit officials and employees
“to maintain and sustain the good
governance of this municipality. I admit that this is not an easy task considering that this locality is a receiver
of the Seal of Good Local Governance award,
which is a big challenge on my part. But rest assured to do my best just to
maintain the good performance left by the outgoing MLGOO Jennifer Ampatuan.”
While
the other newly hired MLGOOs are under training for three months, Padolina,
meantime, covers six municipalities --- Datu Abdullah Sangki, Shariff Aguak,
Saydona Mustapha, Mamasapano, Rajah Buayan, and Sultan Sa Barongis.
On the
other hand, MLGOO Jennifer Ampatuan has been assigned in four first class
municipalities: Datu Odin Sinsuat, North Upi, Sultan Kudarat, and Parang.
She extended
her thankfulness to Mayor Al-Fizzar Allandatu M. Angas and to the other local
government officials for their supportive stance in leadership “when it comes
to development. We really worked hard, hand-in hand together in unity, that’s
why we hit our target goal as a recipient of the Seal of Good Local Governance
(SGLG) 2019.”
Mayor Al-Fizzar Allandatu M. Angas also thanked
Jennifer Ampatuan “for doing her job and working with us religiously and
unconditionally. Because of her good performance she shared with us, for the
first time, we hit the most prestigious award, the 2019 Seal of Good Local
Governance.”
“And I really hope that the newly installed
MLGOO will do the same as what MLGOO Jennifer Ampatuan did in this locality,”
Mayor Al-Fizzar, added. (Anne
