COTABATO CITY - A total of Php11,426,000
worth of farm inputs, equipment and machineries were distributed to farmers and
fisher folks across the region on Wednesday, May 18 in Cotabato City.
The items distributed were 400 bags of
certified palay seed, pesticide and fertilizer. Several units of rice
transplanters, floating tillers and hand tractors were also distributed.
The distribution was part of the celebration
of the 2016 Farmers and Fisherfolks' Month and 25th Department of Agriculture
and Fisheries (DAF)-ARMM Devolution Anniversary.

said the celebration was aimed at recognizing and honoring farmers and fisher
folks in the ARMM for their valuable contribution in the economy of the
