NEW HEADSHIP --- Liga ng mga Barangay president Reynalbert Oca Insular (2nd from right) is now the mayor-elect of South Upi in Maguindanao province after being proclaimed by the Municipal Board of Canvassers chaired by acting Election Officer Esmael L. Lidasan (right). Insular, an independent candidate, obtained 2,820 votes as against his close rivals Atty. Ruben Platon (2,466) and six other candidates. Other members of the MBOC were Municipal Treasurer Nasser Agasor (left) and Ernesto Mocudef, princial of Timanan Central School. Former three-termer municipal mayor Abdullah Campong was also proclaimed as the vice-mayor of the same town with 5,473 votes. (Anne B. Acosta)
NEWLY proclaimed municipal officials of South Upi, Maguindanao are (left to right) re-elected Kagawad Beatriz Yap (3,380 votes), re-elected Kagawad Warlito Pinuela (3,472), re-elected Kagawad (3,509), re-elected 1st Kagawad Maria Sargan (4,464), Mayor-elect Reynalbert Oca Insular, and newly elected Kagawads Imelda Estorninos (3,705), Raymundo Quinlat, Jr. (3,702), Roldan Benito (3,056), and Alberto Estorninos (2,791).
