NUTRITION --- Datu Saudi Ampatuan LGU is serious
in addressing nutrition issues among children following the conduct of a
feeding program last November 18 held at Barangay Kitango. The event was

DATU SAUDI AMPATUAN (DSA), Maguindanao --- This
municipal government conducted last
November 18 a “feeding program” in partnership with the provincial government
and the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
The feeding
program benefited at least 300 children from Madrasah “Markadz I b’n Muhammad”
in Barangay Kitango.

Dimuakom said they served porridge, tetra pack juice, table banana, chicken
sandwich, and bottled water.
“It is our goal to
further increase nutritional status among the underweight and severely
underweight children,” Mayor Dimaukom said.
The mayor said
they would also want to see to it that the parents are aware of their roles and
responsibilities and take seriously the nutrition of their children.
“Our end goal is
to have healthier family members, most especially among the children,” Mayor
Dimaukom said.
Among those present
in the activity were Vice Mayor Bailon Dimaukom,
Councilor Datu Moadz
