AMPATUAN (DSA), Maguindanao --- This local government has in its development
blueprint the upgrading of the delivery of basic services for its constituents.
Mayor Bai Anida A. Dimaukom said during her
meeting with employees and the barangay chairmen that this is her “marching
order” to the municipal officials and employees “not only to double but triple
their efforts to sustain good public service.”
Last year, Mayor Dimaukom said they have initiated
capacity-building programs to equip the municipal employees with the necessary
skills in upgrading basic services being extended by the local government.
“That was part of our 2017 Comprehensive
Development Plan (CDP). In fact, we have conducted a seminar on Basic Customer
Service Skills. Under the BCSS, we taught the employees on the proper way of
treating clients with courtesy,” Mayor Dimaukom said.
Further, she said they also tackled on the
employees’ specific job descriptions according to their functions which
included time management and observance of official office hours.
Dimaukom stressed that they want to move toward
public excellence.
“This 2018, we will exercise the expertise in
moving our programs aimed at capacitating our own people in the local
