FOR PEACE ---The ARMM
Government has officially rolled out the Education Pathways to Peace in
Mindanao (Pathways), a P3.6 billion program funded by the Australian
Government, on Friday (February 23) in Cotabato City. Pathways is a nine-year
program designed to improve the delivery of basic education and contribute to
peace building in the ARMM.
The launching was led by ARMM
Education Secretary Rasol Mitmug, Australian Embassy Deputy Head of Mission Mat
Kimberley, Assistant Executive Secretary Atty. Sittie Mariam Balahim, and
Director Margarita Consolacion Ballesteros of DepEd Central Office.
Atty. Mitmug said the Pathways would
support the Philippine Government's effort to strengthen its core education
