ARMM Gov. Mujiv Hataman's Statement on the death of Malaysian facilitator of the GPH-MILF talks, Tenkgu Dato Ab Ghafar Tengku Mohamed

We have just received news that Tenkgu Dato Ab Ghafar Tengku Mohamed, the Malaysian facilitator in GPH-MILF peace talks, has passed away this morning.

At a time when genuine allies in working towards just and lasting peace in the Bangsamoro are rare, his death leaves us with a feeling of profound loss and grief. The space he has left behind both in this world and in the hearts of our people will be hard to fill. We send our condolences to his friends and family, and we assure them of our prayers and support.
