FNRI-DOST holds Regional Dissemination Forum

The Food and Nutrition Research Institute of the Department of Science and Technology (FNRI-DOST) conducted the Regional Dissemination Forum on the results of the 2015 Updating on the Nutritional Status of Filipino Children and Other Population Groups on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 in Cotabato City.

The study included data and information on anthropometry, adult health and nutrition, food security, households’ and members’ participation in selected nutrition and related government programs, maternal health and nutrition, socio-economic status and infant and young child feeding practices.

The survey was conducted in the region in September to November 2015, with 66% household participation rate that translates to 1,744 households, and 89.2% individual participation rate equivalent to 161,577 individuals. (BUREAU OF PUBLIC INFORMATION-MINDANAO EXPOSE’)
