The Regional Human Rights Commission
(RHRC-ARMM) in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare and
Development (DSWD-ARMM) conducted a meeting, June 23 in preparation for the
launching of 38th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week on
July 21, 2016. It was participated in by the focal persons of the different
line agencies of the ARMM.
The upcoming event aims to raise awareness on
the protection of the rights and dignity of persons with disabilities in the
region. The theme for this celebration is "Karapatan ng Maykapansanan,
Isakatuparan... Now Na!". (Bureau of Public Information – Mindanao Expose)
